Description

Texas Instruments BA II Plus Professional Calculator

  • Texas BA II Plus Professional Calculator 10-digit calculator is produced by Texas (BA II Plus). The Texas Instruments BA II Plus Professional Calculator is Texas primary financial calculator as of 2015. Alongside its financial capabilities, it also offers basic scientific calculator functionality. The majority of its financial capabilities are available as worksheets, where values are input as variables in a table.
  • When a computation is requested, the calculator inserts the values from the worksheet into the relevant internal expression and returns the requested result. Several professional tests, notably the global Chartered Financial Analyst exam, allow it. Larger display numbers are included in the 2014 edition, although the computing algorithms are the same as in earlier models. It is not offered in a solar-powered version.
  • An improvement to the base model first released in 2004 is the BA-II plus Professional, which includes various new worksheet features such as net future value and a changed internal rate of return. In addition, it has a slipcover in place of a hard case and a weighted case.
  • Emulators for the BA-II Plus have been made available by a number of firms, most notably Texas Instruments. Additionally, Stokes Publishing once offered The Educator Business, a calculator intended for overhead projector usage that attempted to accurately replicate the BA-II Plus; as of 2015, it is no longer included in their catalog.
  • The BA II Plus Professional calculator features all the great features of its predecessor while packing in even more time-saving functions to make short work of complex equations. It’s an ideal choice for entry level and advanced finance, accounting, economics, investment, statistics, and other business classes. It’s also a great choice to bring to the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam. Along with the standard capabilities of time-value-of-money, accrued interest, amortization, cost-sell-margin, and depreciation calculations, users can calculate more advanced business and finance related issues. It will handle net future value (NFV), modified internal rate of return (MIRR), modified duration, payback, discount payback, and more. Its rugged metal exterior, firm-touch keypad and anti-slip rubber feet make it ideal for anyone in accounting, economics, investing, statistics, and related businesses. Note-automatic power down feature turns off the calculator automatically after about five minutes of inactivity, the calculator turns on exactly as left.
